However, because its own workbench is heavier, it will lead to his displacement speed is slower than the drilling machine, and it is equipped with a disk knife library, so the time to change the knife is slower than the drilling machine.

The drilling and tapping center and the machining center also have the function of drilling and tapping and milling, and the drilling and tapping center has the advantage of "drilling and tapping" over the machining center, and the high-speed milling fast movement and feed are faster than the machining center. However, the number of drilling and tapping models is small, and the stroke is small. And the cutting force is inferior to the machining center. Therefore, from the difference of processing products, drilling and tapping machine is more suitable for small, porous, tapping, batch, light metal processing. The processing center can be competent for the processing of various metal products in larger and small batches.

Combining the characteristics of the above two models, we must take into account the material and quantity of the usual processed products and other factors when purchasing equipment.

If you are just beginning to enter the processing industry, and are not sure of their own product positioning, the purchase of equipment is only one or two cases, it is recommended to buy a processing center, so that any metal products can be processed. If you have been processing for many years, and the positioning of your product is very accurate, you can determine the equipment according to the characteristics of the drilling machine and the machining center.
